I have examined the accompanying Ordinance entitled –

An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of the other

Superioress in this Colony of the Society of the "Daughters

of Charity of the Canossian Institute" by which the institution

known as the Italian Convent is carried on.

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the

Governor's Instructions,
